Job description:
The Metrology/Calibration Technician is responsible for calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production and laboratory instrumentation used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. This role supports equipment reliability, product quality, and regulatory compliance by performing calibration, preventive maintenance, documentation, and basic troubleshooting in a cGMP-regulated environment. Working alongside experienced technicians, participants develop the technical skills necessary to transition into a full-time Metrology/Calibration Technician position.
Based on individual experience, some internship opportunities may include the BioWork Certificate Program to help close technical skills gaps. BioWork scholarships are funded by the MOVE employer network, allowing eligible participants to complete the training at no cost and preserve their GI Bill benefits.
