This internship will report directly to the CE Director of Maintenance Engineering. This position will manage equipment maintenance and improvement activities at Titan America’s facilities. Maintenance Engineering Manager will manage teams of professionals and coordinate allocation of project resources. Responsibilities Include: Lead investigations of root causes for mechanical equipment failures. Manage equipment benchmarking and metric analysis to improve equipment reliability. Create and establish programs to ensure reliability of engineering processes, reliability-centered maintenance programs and best practices. Manage projects, including safety, scope development, budget, tracking/controlling, and coordinating with internal resources, outside firms and suppliers. Provide team leadership and project management expertise for installations and modifications to improve the facilities infrastructure and equipment reliability and uptime. Participate in departmental budget development, maintenance reporting, and capital expenditure requests. Lead maintenance and modification of the plant engineering systems and library. Develop and maintain Preventative Maintenance Program. Formulate and provide training as necessary to support safety, equipment reliability, and process efficiency. May need to travel up to 30 percent throughout Titan America facilities. Leading and supervising methods departments for Roanoke Cement Plant and Pennsuco Cement Plant. Involved in general outage planning, scheduling and execution at Roanoke Cement Plant and Pennsuco Cement Plant. Leads spare parts analysis and criticality and ordering crutial spare parts at Roanoke Cement Plant and Pennsuco Cement Plant. Involved in procurement initiatives and best practices. Budget control around 1 million dollars between Pennsuco and Roanoke Cement The requirements for the Maintenance Engineering Manager position include: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other quantitative field, minimum of five years of experience with proven results in heavy industrial settings. Extensive knowledge of the Titan Group operations and substantial experience managing equipment maintenance and improvement projects with the Titan Group. Previous experience in a Maintenance leadership position required.
