Job description:
The incumbent of this position will conduct exemption review of records responsive to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. This review will be completed using specialized software called Relativity. The Agency is required to conduct two levels of exemption review. First level review entails reviewing large volumes of potentially responsive records to reduce the OCSPP FOIA backlog. The incumbent will conduct the first level review to determine if a record is responsive to the FOIA request and to mark it appropriately for any information that is exempted from release under the FOIA. The second level of review will be conducted by senior members of PIRIB. Prior experience reviewing records for FOIA or other specialized document review work is desired. Training will be provided to gain an understanding of FOIA exemptions, the PIRIB document types, and Relativity software.
