Job description:
Under general supervision, performs general duties in the enforcement of federal, state and local laws and ordinances. Patrols a designated area on foot or in vehicle to preserve, prevent and discover violations of the law. Maintains public safety and security. Delivers city council meeting packets to council members 24 hours prior to meeting. Responses to all complaints and calls from the public. Maintains and reports all his cases, citations and investigations to his supervisor within policy time limit. Enforce all state and federal laws. Responsible for completing duties of police. Maintains activity level as directed by supervisor. Complies with policy and procedures of the department.
