Led by U.S. Army veteran and studio owner Matt Fritzeen, this program provides real-world experience in group fitness coaching, HIIT instruction, studio operations, client relations, and fitness business management. Trainees will work directly alongside the studio owner in a mentorship-based environment, progressively building the skills and confidence needed to launch a meaningful civilian career in the fitness industry. No prior fitness certifications are required — we train you from the ground up. As a SkillBridge trainee at Destin Fit Body Boot Camp, you will receive comprehensive, hands-on training across five progressive phases covering all aspects of fitness coaching and studio operations.Coaching & Instruction: Learn to lead high-intensity interval training (HIIT) group fitness sessions with professional verbal cueing, motivational coaching, proper form correction, and safe class management for participants of all fitness levels. Progress from observing and co-coaching alongside your mentor to independently leading full sessions.Fitness Program Design: Develop a working understanding of exercise science fundamentals, movement patterns, energy systems, and injury prevention as they apply to designing safe and effective boot camp-style training programs for diverse client populations.Studio Operations: Gain proficiency in daily studio opening and closing procedures, member management software, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities that keep a boutique fitness studio running smoothly.Client Relations & Sales: Learn how a fitness studio generates revenue and retains members. Develop skills in conducting studio tours, presenting memberships, handling objections, and delivering an exceptional client experience that builds lasting community.Business Management: Get exposure to the operational and financial side of running a small fitness business, including staff scheduling, key performance indicators, and community engagement strategies.Career Development: Work toward a personalized civilian career plan and receive structured preparation toward nationally recognized fitness certifications including NASM or ACE. Receive a certificate of completion and a personal letter of recommendation from the studio owner upon successful graduation from the program.
