Prime Components

Prime has made available three different jobs with differing difficulties to align with skills and interests of applicants. Corrosion Control Specialist is the least difficult, Welder is in-between, and Fitter is most difficult. We will provide hands on training for all interns to learn the skills needed to be successful within Prime and other pre-fabricated metal engineering companies. We will present a company exam at the end of the internship and depending on results, Prime will then extend an offer to the intern for a full time position.

Corrosion Control Specialist will prepare an employee to understand different metal surfaces and how to apply protective coatings to steel structures. Welders will understand how to weld on prefabricated structural steel to fill work orders by interpreting shop drawings. Fitters will facilitate the completion of various pre engineered steel structures in compliance of shop drawings.
