Job DescriptionTITLE: Onsite P/LT Tire Manager/Technicianwww.2UTireCareers.comPurpose of Position: 2U Tire & Wheel is a mobile onsite tire and custom wheel sales and installation company. We are revolutionizing the tire and wheel industry by bringing the tire store to our clients. We service P/LT tires from 10” bead diameter up to 24”, including 17.5” and 19.5” medium truck and trailer tires.The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to manage and operate a mobile tire store. In addition, the right candidate will possess the following skills and abilities:Essential Functions: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without reasonable accommodation).Maintain vehicle, both mechanically and with the appearance.Inspect and assess damaged or worn tires on vehicles.Input data timely for accurate record-keeping.Use programmers to service TPMS.Operates a rim clamp tire changer.Maintain a clean work environment.Keep equipment available for use by inspecting and performing maintenance as required.Assist with customer inquiries.Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders with approved vendors, and verifying receipt.Recommends appropriate repair treatment or replacement of tires and wheels.Install and mount new tires.Balance tires and complete tire pressure sensor relearn if needed.Works and attends trade shows professionally, representing the company.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.Attends all safety and health training, as required, on time.Works when scheduled and complies with the company attendance policy.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (Duties that are likely to be assigned to this person unless he/she proves unable to perform them after receiving training and/or accommodations that the company judges appropriate).Ability to think outside of the box to solve unknown issues.Ability to create relationships with clients.Must be able to ascertain correct lifting procedures using ALI lift guide and follow safety rules.Must be able to use applied knowledge to formulate positive solutions to problem situations.Must be able to read, write and communicate in English effectively.Must be able to comply with OSHA requirements and standards to wear all applicable PPE properly.Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. regularly.Must be able to see within normal range of vision with or without corrective lenses.Must be able to hear running machinery.Must be able to use hands, wrists, and fingers repetitively.Must have exceptional eye-hand coordination.Must regularly be able to reach overhead.Must regularly be able to squat, bend, twist, and stand.Must be able to walk around regularly using steps to climb in and out of work van.
