Discovery Machine, Inc. (DMI) is seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide insights in Integrated Defense. A SME is responsible for participating in knowledge capture sessions with DMI’s development team. SMEs assist in coordinating knowledge capture sessions, as needed, with other SMEs to refine and/or seek additional information required for development effort.

A SME should enjoy working with a team, possess solid communications skills, have strong critical thinking skills, and a deep understanding of their field of expertise.• Participate in knowledge capture sessions as required by the DMI development team.• Structure SME knowledge using specific knowledge representations.• Assist DMI engineers to design, implement, and test solutions for customers.• Validate solutions after development.• Work with DMI Development team to establish software system requirements.
