Job Description: As a part of the Aviation Maintenance Development Program, this internship is a unique opportunity for transitioning service members to immerse themselves in a civilian aircraft maintenance operation.Key Responsibilities Include:- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft & components- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections and work orders- Utilize maintenance manuals to identify repair procedures- Examine replacement aircraft parts for serviceability - Proper utilization of hand and power tools - Assist with aircraft maintenance record upkeep- Assist with any regulatory inspections and inquiries from the FAA- Track component and bench stock inventory and reorder as necessary - Communicate with the dispatch and scheduling team on aircraft status and availability.
