We are excited to announce the opportunity for a Military Career Transition Program Fellow at Bayer in Hawaii. This role involves managing a project that will add value to our business in Hawaii, while also participating in various learning and development initiatives. Lead a short term (2-6 month) project that has positive impact/ROI for the business in Hawaii Participate in the development of a project plan and lead team members across functions through the development and implementation of project outcomes Collaborate with project sponsor, manager and team members to develop a strategy that could be implemented to increase efficiency, save cost and/or reduce waste while ensuring compliance within the Heath, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs Learn to work with and adapt to the culture of the team Develop ability to influence and manage change across a diverse workforce Learn corn production workflows and the roles of Bayer Hawaii team members by engaging current individuals in these roles into the project and proactively building relationships and networks with these team members Identify process improvement opportunities and share feedback with team members to create future projects Comply with all safety, regulatory and Bayer policies Required Qualifications: Eligible for Military Transition Program (SkillBridge) 4-Year Degree from an accredited college or university. Or non degreed with minimum of 2 years experience Computer skills to include working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook Project and change management skills Demonstrated leadership & communication skills Demonstrated decision-making ability & problem-solving skills. Valid driver’s license Candidates must have their own transportation to and from the worksite PREFERRED Experience working in Hawaii
