Precision ISR is seeking a highly motivated and talented Software/Systems Engineer to design, develop, and deliver revolutionary ISR capabilities to our customers. Software/Systems Engineers play a critical role in managing the full architecture through software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design to implementation and testing. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, program managers, and clients to ensure project success.
Job description:
Key responsibilities include: • Identify technology gaps, perform trade studies, create simulations and develop system architectures • Cradle-to-grave innovative software applications for defense technologies. • Design and develop software applications, algorithms, and models • Unit test and debug software, integrate with hardware and other systems • Gain valuable experience with AI (tools, testing, analysis and algorithm implementation) • Supporting the integration of critical defense technologies Ideal candidates possess: • An interest or a strong technical foundation in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., electrical, mechanical, aerospace, computer science, systems engineering). • Willingness to learn about technology, software languages and tools, analytics, and artificial intelligence • Knowledge of the acquisition, development, and operation of DoD air and space systems. • A commitment to national security and Precision ISR’s values. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. • The ability to work independently and as part of a team in an unstructured environment • A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to challenges. • The ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
