Job description:
This role is located the in Arlington/Ballston/NCR. The contract specialist will be responsible for supporting Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) in developing, analyzing, and executing contracts for the Vulnerability Management subdivision ensuring resources are properly planned for mission achievement. They will work closely with leadership to ensure that contracts are planned, analyzed for cost savings and efficiencies, and aligned with overall mission strategy. Additionally, they will be expected to support CORs in performing all pre-award functions in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and Agency policy. Support CORs in preparing solicitation documents, analyzing proposals Analyze data submitted for consistency with financial and program objectives, and adherence to instructions. Developing singular, specific, and multi-audience presentations, summaries, and other communications in a clear and concise manner to organize work assignments.

Demonstrated Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem solving abilities. Strong arithmetic and mathematical reasoning skills. Enjoys interacting across groups (internal stakeholder interaction) to come up with effective solutions. Experience using Excel. Experience creating dashboards and reports using Power BI.
