They are placed in this Accelerated pre-employment and workforce-readiness program to train and qualify the servicemember for employment as a Cleared Armed Security Officer or Escort With the same start date as their terminal leave date.
Cleared Armed Security Officer or Cleared Security Escorti.The Cleared Armed Security Officer is responsible for protecting Client and PGI personnel, property, and information by enforcing access control policies, monitoring surveillance systems, and conducting inspections of personnel, equipment, alarms, locks, doors, and other security mechanisms. The position responds to security and safety incidents, alarms, and unauthorized access attempts while maintaining control of physical and electronic access points throughout the assigned area. The officer maintains a high standard of competency, conduct, appearance, and integrity while completing required reports, training, equipment maintenance, and collateral duties in accordance with PGI and Client policies. Additional responsibilities include promoting security awareness, preventing theft or loss of physical and intellectual property, and performing other duties as assigned by site leadership.ii.The Security Escort is responsible for escorting and monitoring visitors throughout designated site areas while maintaining strict access control, visitor logs, and compliance with established security procedures. The position responds to security and safety incidents, protects sensitive information and property, assists with physical access controls, and promotes awareness of data center security policies. The Security Escort maintains professional standards of conduct, appearance, integrity, and competency while completing required reports, training, and team responsibilities. The position may require travel to local sites in the Columbus, Ohio area and performance of additional duties as assigned.
