You will have the opportunity to intern with the Residential Marketing Team and experience additional, specific skills training opportunities during the internship including BPI Building Analyst Training ($1,895 value), Energy Auditor Training and Sandler Sales Training. The training provided is specific to the Residential Energy Advisor position. A Residential Energy Advisor at Jackson EMC assists in the coordination, tracking, and implementation of marketing programs related to energy efficiency and energy management in the home, including member education, building member relations, and program engagement; promotes and sells the Cooperative’s programs, products, and services to residential customers and trade allies such as HVAC and insulation contractors, developers, and builders; communicates and participates in a team oriented environment in accordance with the mission and values of the Cooperative.

Jackson EMC is headquartered in Jefferson, GA and has additional District offices in Lawrenceville, Gainesville, and Neese in Northeast Georgia. This internship will include training opportunities based in Jefferson with travel between district offices and in the field for meetings, events and training opportunities.

Bachelor's degree required with courses in liberal arts, business management / administration, building science and/or engineering. MS Office Proficiency and excellent communication skills required.
