Job description:
Serve as one of the Regional Operations Analysts/Critical Infrastructure Specialists on the Regional Operations Team contributing to the CISA Regional Operations (OPS) core functions. Core OPS functions include tracking, reporting, serving as an information hub and clearing house, and maintaining critical data and information for regional personnel. Assignments include:• Maintains awareness of operational activities, progress, and issues for the Region.• Provides routine and integrated reporting from the Region to the regional support elements at HQ and CISA Central.• Uses the IT tools and operational data in the CISA Gateway (and other sources, as appropriate) to conduct research in support of regional activities and functions.• Provides mission support services to CISA operational personnel in the region (i.e., Protective Security Advisors [PSAs], Chemical Security Inspectors [CSIs], ECD Coordinators, and CSAs), including operations analysis, project management, incident management, and special event support.• Identifies and develops ways to resolve problems or cope with issues which directly affect the accomplishment of principal program goals and objectives.• Assists in developing new ways to resolve major administrative problems or plans the most significant administrative management aspects of outreach or assessment programs.
