The Skill Bridge Program at Stuart Medical Services, Inc. (SMS), is designed to provide service member(s) with the experience of understanding the inner workings of a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider and servicing its patients. The participants should expect to gain experience, skills, and knowledge related (but not limited to) the following - billing software, government and private insurance policies and procedures; business related policies, regulatory standards and other requirements, processes, and compliance policies; product knowledge; administration and tam facilitation - exposure to all company infrastructure, technology, finance, administration, etc. required to maintain current and develop regular interactions with company founders, vendors, and patients. This role offers the opportunity for growth within the organization and provides a supportive environment for learning and development in medical billing practices. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to deal with ambiguity, and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively (written and spoken). SMS is looking for a passionate entry level specialist who enjoys learning new technology, can understand concepts quickly, and is willing to dive into the billing aspect of our DME company. The BT I is the first line of communication when a referral is received for a patient and information must be sent out to other members of the Operations and Finance team and other management teams. This ensures that support or development issues are minimized and there is a maximal time of resolution for successful patient level satisfaction and company quality results.
