TK Equipment, LLC - Outdoor Power Equipment

Outdoor power equipment technicians (OPET) are precise, logical, and skilled mechanically and physically. They are good at troubleshooting and problem solving. The trade has opportunities and outdoors, and to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties performed by OPETs include:• review and interpretation of work orders and technical manuals,• inspect and test engine, motors and other mechanical components, • adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts and components using hand tools and equipment, • test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance,• perform scheduled maintenance service on equipment • advise customers on work performed and general condition of equipment, and • estimate costs of repairs.
