This SkillBridge opportunity provides transitioning Service Members with structured, hands-on practice in digital dentistry laboratory operations. Participants learn modern CAD/CAM workflows, dental manufacturing techniques (milling and/or 3D printing), finishing, and quality control while working under supervision alongside experienced dental professionals.
Job description:
Under supervision, the participant supports digital case intake and processing, CAD design of dental restorations, CAM manufacturing workflows, post- processing/finishing, and quality control. Training includes safe equipmentoperation, documentation standards, and professional communication with clinicalteams. Learning activities progress in complexity over the program duration.
Experience working in a dental lab and interest in dentistry, CAD/CAM, 3D printing, or advanced manufacturing preferred but not required.
