Job description:
Throughout the training period, the participant will learn how to develop and refine safety policies, supervise safety professionals under executive guidance, analyze enterprise performance metrics such as EMR and DART, and apply regulatory requirements, including USACE EM 385-1-1 standards. The experience is structured to build strategic leadership capability, enhance decision-making skills, and develop proficiency in maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence across all assigned facilities.
Upon successful completion of the program, the participant will demonstrate the ability to:• Supervise and mentor Site Safety & Health Officers (SSHOs) across multiple locations.• Develop, implement, and maintain a corporate Accident Prevention Plan (APP).• Establish governance and approval processes for Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA).• Conduct and oversee monthly multi-site safety meetings and executive safety briefings.• Maintain EMR ≤ 1.10 and DART ≤ 3.0 through proactive performance management.• Enforce 24-hour incident reporting and investigation protocols.• Ensure regulatory compliance across healthcare, logistics, engineering, and operations environments.• Develop executive-level safety dashboards and strategic performance reporting systems.
