Job description:
-Recruitment: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract veterans to our programs. This includes crafting job postings, managing listings on relevant job boards, and conducting initial screening of applicants. - Presentations to Senior Officials: Prepare and present reports on program progress and outcomes to senior officials within and outside the organization. This requires a strong ability to convey information clearly and persuasively. - Networking: Build and maintain relationships with military bases, veterans organizations, and other relevant entities to support recruitment efforts and program goals. -Career Fairs: Organize and participate in career fairs targeted at veterans. Responsibilities include booth setup, direct engagement with attendees, and follow-up communications. - Speaking Engagements: Represent the organization at speaking engagements aimed at military members preparing to transition to civilian employment. This involves preparing and delivering presentations that highlight the resources and support available through our Veterans Employment Program. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and leadership. - Other Duties as Assigned: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the Veterans Employment Program Manager and ensure the program's success.
