During the internship, the Project Manager intern will focus on the following areas:Project Coordination & Acquisition Awareness- Learn how federal contracts drive project execution and influence planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.- Observe how project managers support contract compliance and communicate with internal technical teams and external partners.Stakeholder & Partnership Engagement- Assist in evaluating partnership models and how companies collaborate on federal opportunities.- Support discussions on teaming strategies, small business considerations, and shared project responsibilities.Financial & Business Support- Gain familiarity with basic financial concepts used in project management, such as margins, pricing, and utilization rates.- Assist with data gathering or analysis supporting financial decisions, growth strategies, or pursuit activities.Capstone Integration- Apply knowledge from the first three weeks to support a mock pursuit of a federal contract.- Develop a clear understanding of how contractual, partnership, and financial factors come together in real-world project execution.
