J.B. Hunt Transport - Manager Training Program Internship

We look for high-energy, forward-thinking individuals who are interested in a career with a leader in the transportation logistics and supply chain industry. We will work with you to find the best occupational program to meet your interests, experience and skills. If you go into the Transportation Manager or Brokerage career track, you’ll learn to manage small driver count fleets, ensuring the safe and timely movement of freight, load assignment and best in class customer service. You’ll work with internal and external contacts to ensure the accurate planning, routing, monitoring, and delivery of freight and loads. Maybe your background is in Mechanics or Maintenance Management; we have those programs as well and you’ll be responsible for keeping our fleet operating safely and effectively. Looking for something in Engineering & Technology, Human Resources, Safety, Sales or other Shared Services? We do that too. Upon completion of the Manager in Training Program, you’ll be prepared for hiring into a management, individual contributor or fleet maintenance position, depending on your career track.

J.B. Hunt operates throughout the continental U.S. We will work with you to find a training program location that suits your needs and our capacity to host an intern. Must be flexible to relocate for permanent hire.

Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 1 year of relevant professional experience or Non-Commissioned Officer with at least 3 years of supervisory experience ( minimum E-4)
