Applications received through Indeed will not be considered.The Virginia State Corporation Commission's (SCC) Bureau of Financial Institutions (BFI) seeks an entry-level or mid-career Information Technology (IT) Risk Examiner to conduct examinations of the information technology operations of state-chartered financial institutions (banks and credit unions). IT examination work takes place on-site at financial institutions located within the Commonwealth of Virginia and requires up to 25% travel. An IT Risk Examiner may reside anywhere in Virginia and works four 10-hour days Monday through Thursday. The anticipated salary range for a Senior IT Risk Examiner is $67,200-$75,000. To be eligible for an entry-level/early career IT Risk Examiner, the minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or professional experience in IT audits or examinations. The anticipated salary range for an IT Risk Examiner (Grade P-7 or P-9) is $53,000-$64,000.
