An Independent Insurance Adjuster is responsible for investigating policyholder claims on behalf of an insurance company, surveying and recording damages to property or investigating personal injuries, and reporting damage findings to the insurance company to authorize the settlement of claims.
Job description:
Candidate will be responsible for meeting with policyholders and witnesses, retrieving and reviewing police reports, and traveling to property site locations to survey, assess, document damage causation, and prepare/provide a detailed written estimate of materials and costs associated with repairs or replacement to ensure claimants are made whole again.
