Shop Assistant duties and responsibilities:• Manage all facets of company equipment including identification, tracking, repairs and distribution to employees as needed• Manage and maintain organization of all warehouse functions including upkeep, organization and tracking• Operate equipment and supplement workforce when worksite workloads require • Procure materials and coordinate deliveries to worksites as required• Assist superintendent on delivery scheduling from shop and outside sources.• Review general equipment and vehicle repair or purchase invoice Must frequently lift, move, or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift, move, or carry objects weighing more than 50 pounds. The employee must be able to use close vision and have the ability to adjust focus. The employee may drive vehicle if needed.
