The application is used for reporting, tracking, and managing foreign travel events for employees, supporting security compliance requirements.The intern will assess, repair, and improve a Microsoft PowerApp and Power Automate workflow currently in use by the organization. This will include debugging form workflows, fixing field validation issues, improving notifications, and building out additional functionality for pre- and post-travel processes.

Key Responsibilities: Debug and Repair Existing PowerApp/Workflow Identify and fix broken or misdirected email notifications in the Power Automate workflows.Ensure that date fields are properly validated and locked as required.• Enhance Pre-Travel Workflow Modify the app to automatically send a pre-brief travel questionnaire upon submission.Allow responses to be collected in the app and trigger notification to the Security Team.Implement Post-Travel Debrief Workflow Set up workflow automation to trigger a debrief questionnaire 5 days after employee returns from travel.Collect debrief responses and notify the Security Team upon completion. Implement Data LockingUpdate the app to lock specific data fields once the related step (e.g., travel pre-brief or travel end date) is completed.Optional (Time Permitting): External User HandlingDesign a parallel workflow for users without access to Redwood’s Microsoft environment using fillable PDFs or secure links.
By the end of the internship, the SkillBridge candidate will have:Enhanced and deployed a fully functional Power Platform application used in real-world security processes.Gained hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem tools in a professional context.Learned how to plan, test, and deliver IT solutions independently in a low-supervision environment.
