Holt CAT in Texas is looking for a Power Generation Technicians. This position is responsible for providing high-quality repair service on Power Generation products in a shop or field environment, in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. Locations vary in Texas from the Red River to the Rio Grande River to northeast Texas. A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities: Must be able to Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs correctly in the shop such as pumps, hydraulic, engine, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues and repairs. At least 3 years of Power Generation equipment troubleshooting and repair skills. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair power generation equipment using electronic and manual equipment to determine failure. CAT ET & CAT SIS 2.0 knowledge preferred Able to document all work orders properly Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose Tier 4 systems. Must have a valid drivers' license. Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc. Must be able to lift 50# approximately 5 times a day. Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are required. Excellent attendance is required. Must be able to work Mon-Friday; 7 AM-5 PM. Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level. Ability to work with limited supervision. Must be able to undergo a pre employment background check and a drug test. Must have a safe driving record. Must be able to maintain a DOT medical card.
