CHA Consulting, LLC
Summary description:
CHA’s Advanced Energy group is a leader in upgrading existing buildings for a more sustainable future. We specialize in energy efficiency projects that implement both energy conservation measures as well as central plant transitions from carbon-based fuels to cleaner fuel sources. Currently, our team has a sizable portfolio of geothermal projects that are converting buildings from boilers and traditional cooling over to heat pumps that connect to ground-source thermal networks. In addition, we are continuing to retrofit older buildings to improve energy efficiency, ventilation, and in many cases occupant comfort. The Advanced Energy group’s involvement in these projects stretches from energy auditing (if applicable) and initial concept design through detailed design, construction administration, commissioning, and M&V. CHA is somewhat unique in the industry in that we specialize in and have expertise in all of these areas. CHA provides commissioning for these types of projects as well as for non-energy related renovations and new construction. Our commissioning team is growing and we are seeking an engineer with HVAC commissioning experience who can lead small and medium size projects, and help lead our larger projects. The mechanical/commissioning team strives to be a place where people can come for the long term and grow their career. With many different types of buildings and types of mechanical systems in our projects, there is also no shortage of variety of work. CHA is an engineering design firm made up of engineers across many different disciplines, including but not limited to electrical, structural, civil, aviation, water, wastewater, etc. CHA also has in-house architecture. At CHA, you can build a career and find your passion across our diverse business lines and project teams. Being part of CHA means being part of a team of talented professionals, where you’ll find support for your career growth and the opportunity to impact our industry and our communities.
