Job description:
Program Overview:This hands-on internship provides comprehensive technical training in the installation, operation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of commercial industrial pump and electrical systems. The participant will work directly under experienced personnel to transition military heavy machinery, mechanical, or technical utilities experience into a civilian field technician career.Core Duties & Responsibilities:Assist field teams in the diagnostics, servicing, and repair of:Well and booster pumpsWater meters and chlorination systemsValves (both manual and automatic)Electrical power, controls, and generator setsDiesel engines and industrial machineryElectronic communication, SCADA equipment, and process control instrumentationQualifications:Must be an active-duty service member with command approval for a 150-day SkillBridge opportunity.Prior experience or technical aptitude with electrical systems combined with heavy machinery or mechanical systems is highly preferred.Exceptional focus on workplace safety, electrical safety protocols, and a strong work ethic.
Training is located at the Pearl City facility in Hawaii. The $47,840 - $62,400 range represents the estimated full-time career salary upon program completion. The 150-day internship itself is strictly uncompensated, as the service member continues to receive full military pay and allowances.
