Job description:
The Business Operations Coordinator supports Market/Dean’s (MKD) Operations Specialist across the business operations, contracts, and compliance functions. Working within an 8(a) EDWOSB defense-focused marketing agency, the Coordinator helps administer commercial and government contracts, supports JAMIS Prime data entry and standard reporting under the Operations Specialist's ownership, maintains vendor and subcontractor documentation (COIs, W-9s, expirations), tracks corporate compliance obligations (DCAA, CMMC Level 2, 8(a) EDWOSB reporting, state registrations), and stewards MKD's operational SOP library.

Eligibility factors:
Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force
Comfortable navigating a computer-based system of record for data entry, tracking, or reporting (e.g., a military ERP, supply, logistics, or personnel system) — prior JAMIS or ERP-specific experience not required.Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and Microsoft Word/Google Docs.Strong attention to detail and comfort with recurring administrative processes — tracking deadlines, expirations, and required documentation accurately and on schedule.Experience operating within a regulated, standards-driven environment (e.g., following SOPs, checklists, or compliance protocols) and handling sensitive or controlled documentation appropriately.Access to a personal laptop capable of running standard business software (MKD does not currently provide loaner equipment).Strong written communication for documentation and SOP writing.No college degree or prior business operations experience required.
