Safety Professionals conduct thorough audits, coordinating closely with senior managers to address identified needs. They manage injury cases in collaboration with the Workman’s Compensation Manager, building essential resources and relationships.Key tasks include providing leadership at the area level, promoting a positive safety culture and participation in company-wide safety audits, ensuring corrective actions are effectively communicated and implemented. This role is involved in After Action Review (AAR) calls, reviews operational reports for safety planning, and assists with training and scheduling. Organizational safety, root cause investigations, and case management are also within their purview. They respond to OSHA audits, coordinating with area safety managers to ensure compliance and timely notifications for serious events.
