This SkillBridge opportunity provides transitioning service members with hands-on experience in Sustainment Readiness Data Analysis through a structured, on-the-job training program located at NSWC Port Hueneme. The duration of this training program is 24 weeks long. Participants will learn how to analyze maintenance and readiness data, identify trends and performance gaps, develop corrective action plans, and support lifecycle sustainment efforts.The training emphasizes data-driven decision-making, maintenance effectiveness analysis, issue tracking, and strategic reporting. Participants will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including logisticians, engineers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and NAVSEA stakeholders, to improve system readiness and operational performance.
Job description:
The Sustainment Readiness Data Analyst Intern supports NAVSEA sustainment and lifecycle management initiatives by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting maintenance and readiness data to improve operational effectiveness.Key responsibilities include:• Analyze maintenance, readiness, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.• Track issues and develop actionable Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to address system deficiencies.• Support maintenance effectiveness assessments and lifecycle sustainment initiatives.• Collaborate with engineers, logisticians, OEM representatives, and program stakeholders to resolve readiness challenges.• Participate in working groups, Failure Review Boards, and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability-Cost (RAM-C) discussions.• Assist with developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and analytical reports.• Support project, product, and quality management efforts by evaluating resource requirements, schedules, and sustainment metrics.• Prepare and deliver data-driven presentations and recommendations to leadership to support strategic decision-making.• Apply analytical methods and predictive techniques to improve system readiness and sustainment outcomes.
