As the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of the company, including inventory management, warehousing, and deliveries for our custom home product lines. You will work closely with the Sales team to develop logistics solutions that meet our customers’ needs. You will be responsible for maintaining all documentation throughout each step of the process via our CRM, HubSpot. This role will spend the majority of the time working in HubSpot, Excel spreadsheets, and SharePoint. You will manage the warehouse and delivery teams to meet the company’s needs. This role will rely heavily on standard processes and your ability to maintain and hold others accountable for following the standard processes. You will ensure the timely delivery of products to customers, maintain cost-effective practices, and implement continuous improvements to our logistics strategy.
Job description:
The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows, but not limited to:- Manage the entire logistics process, from procurement to final product distribution.- Collaborate with the sales team to align logistics operations with customer delivery requirements.- Maintain documentation and update tickets within our CRM as it relates to product list tracking, delivery scheduling, and final delivery notifications.- Ensure the implementation of the company's standard processes and hold team members accountable for adherence to established procedures.- Optimize warehouse and distribution operations, including inventory management, storage, and transportation planning.- Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.- Manage relationships with third-party vendors’ shipping departments.- Work closely with warehouse, delivery, sales, and customer service teams to meet customer demands and resolve any logistics-related issues.- Develop contingency plans for potential disruptions in the supply chain, such as transportation delays or labor shortages.- Lead the warehouse and delivery teams to a high level of performance, consistency, and accountability.- Effectively communicate with third-party installation crews about timing and facilitate logistics.- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
This role is located on-site in our Shreveport, LA warehouse.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:- Superior attention to detail- Experience required in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field- Exceptional understanding and use of software, specifically Excel and HubSpot (or equivalent CRMs)- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work inside a non-climate-controlled warehouse space for occasional warehouse staffing constraints/shortages- Proven leadership and team management experience in a fast-paced environment, with ever-evolving variables- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices in logistics- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality- Candidate must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license- Must have a clean driving record and the ability and confidence to obtain a chauffeur’s license and drive a large box truck for occasional deliveries- Must be able to obtain forklift driver certification- Positive, self-motivated attitude- Ability to perform with minimal management intervention.
