Internal Auditor Under the general supervision of the Director of Internal Audit, the incumbent performs a wide variety of complex audits and reviews of agency processes and functional areas to ensure adequate internal controls are in place and functioning as intended to mitigate unnecessary agency risk regarding noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations. In this capacity, the incumbent is responsible for obtaining documentation, conducting audits and interviews, documenting results, and communicating actions necessary to resolve identified issues/concerns in formal audit reports to promote agency efficiencies and encourage organizational effectiveness.
