CAREGIVER SUPERVISORSITE OF SERVICE:US Border Patrol Soft Sided FacilitySchedule will be provided by the Sector Supervisor/Regional Manager JOB SUMMARY:The Floor Supervisor will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations on an assigned shift within an assigned facility. This role is an essential part of LUKE’s team as it will provide oversight and guidance to staff, ensuring operations run smoothly on the shift. PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: • 2+ years of management and leadership experience• Demonstrate proficiency in using technology (Tablets, iPads)• Accountability for Time and Attendance• Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills (Staff Concerns/Suggestions).• Flexibility and Effective task scheduling• The ability to work well under pressure.• The ability to take the initiative.• Ability to effectively Onboard New Hires.• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. at times.• Good communication and interpersonal skills – ability to communicate effectively in English and SpanishCORE DUTIES/ADDITIONAL SKILLS:• Oversees daily operations independently or jointly within an assigned shift.• Executes revolving schedules on duty assignments on a daily and weekly basis.• Maintain shift logs of employees scheduled to fill Caregiver positions, including breaks, meal periods, and other operations through the shift.• Monitor and evaluate staffing operations and workflow.• When required during unexpected absence, shift turnovers or other periods as necessary, Supervisors shall aid and perform the duties of Caregiver unit such time as the position(s) can be filled by staff.• Provides effective leadership for all employees by establishing open communication, coaching, and articulating clearly defined objectives to perform the job required.• Monitoring and documenting Time and attendance (Tardiness, Absences, Sick Leave, and Emergency Leave)• Enforces established policies and procedures as outlined within the job requirements.• Execute required reporting (Employee Issues, Significant Incidents) • Maintains operational records as required by the job.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/SKILLSMust be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice work assignments and create a new workflow for the staff within the facility.
