Our core services include: 24-Hour Crisis Hotline, 30-Day Emergency Shelter, Legal Advocacy, Support Groups. Counseling, Life Skills Classes, Parenting Classes, Residential Aftercare, Rural County Outreach, Youth Programs (Children and Teens), Community Education and Training.
Job description:
Support the Development Director with various SafeHomes initiatives, including event planning and execution, creating graphic design materials, and managing social media content. Assist in drafting press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials to raise awareness of the shelter's mission and services. Coordinate outreach efforts with local media, community partners, and donors. Help with fundraising campaigns and donor relations, including maintaining communication with supporters. Conduct research to identify media trends, potential partners, and advocacy opportunities. Assist with the creation of educational materials related to domestic violence prevention and awareness. Provide support for any other tasks or projects as assigned by the supervisor.
Interns must be willing to work Monday - Friday between 8:30-4pm.
