Explore the mapThe Sourcing Recruiter is responsible for identifying, engaging, and building relationships with qualified candidates to support current and future hiring needs. This role partners closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and talent acquisition leadership to develop sourcing strategies, maintain strong talent pipelines, and deliver a positive candidate experience from initial outreach through handoff to the recruiting team.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify active and passive candidates for open and anticipated roles.• Use sourcing tools, job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, resume databases, and Boolean search techniques to build qualified candidate pipelines.• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand position requirements, ideal candidate profiles, hiring priorities, and market conditions.• Conduct initial candidate outreach, assess interest and basic qualifications, and maintain timely communication with prospects.• Maintain accurate candidate records, sourcing activity, pipeline status, and notes in the applicant tracking system or candidate relationship management platform.• Research talent markets, competitors, skill availability, compensation trends, and sourcing channels to support informed recruiting strategies.• Create and manage talent communities for recurring, hard-to-fill, niche, technical, cleared, or high-volume roles.• Support diversity sourcing efforts by identifying inclusive channels and expanding outreach to underrepresented talent pools.• Track sourcing metrics, including outreach response rates, pipeline conversion, candidate quality, and time-to-submit.• Represent the organization professionally in all candidate interactions and promote the employer brand through compelling outreach and relationship-building.
