Participants gain practical experience through classroom instruction, self paced learning, laboratory exercises, job shadowing, and supervised development projects while developing the foundational skills required for an entry level Oracle Applications Developer career.The primary objective of this position is professional development and career transition. Upon successful completion of the SkillBridge program, participants may be considered for employment with WBL Solutions based on demonstrated performance, company hiring needs, available positions, and mutual interest. Participants are expected to have little or no previous software development experience. Through instructor led training, self paced coursework, mentoring, coding exercises, observation, and supervised development assignments, trainees develop the foundational knowledge necessary to support Oracle enterprise applications.This position focuses on software development fundamentals, Oracle application customization, technical problem solving, systems integration, and professional consulting practices rather than independent software development. The position will be held on site and in order to be considered for this position you must be willing to locate to the Spring City, TN. area for the training. This is an entry level position, and the salary is based on that. Salary increases with progression toward Level 1,2 and 3.
