We are seeking a skilled HVAC & Alternative Energy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently in various environments. The HVAC Technician will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and effectively while adhering to safety standards.

DutiesInstall new HVAC systems and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning HVAC units, including air conditioning and refrigeration systems.Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues within HVAC systems.Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and identify potential issues.Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.Provide excellent customer service while communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.Comply with all safety regulations and protocols while working on-site.SkillsProficient in appliance repair with a focus on HVAC systems.Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Experience working with electrical systems.Experience working with generators a plus.Familiarity with field service operations and customer interaction is highly desirable.Ability to read schematics and technical manuals related to HVAC equipment.Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, ensuring high-quality workmanship.Join our team as an HVAC Technician where you can utilize your skills in a dynamic environment while contributing to the comfort of our clients!
