Summary description:
Leidos will provide educational experience and learning opportunities that will advance their professional skills in Cyber Security and IT Project Management in the following areas: 1. Gain additional knowledge and experience with the Leidos FedRAMP team / and Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support for DoD/Federal systems - Instruction/OJT (Interested in Services outside the USMC as well) 2. Gain additional knowledge and experience using A&A tools to support system security and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) - Instruction/OJT (eMASS/MCCAST/PAGE/STIG Viewer/ACAS etc.) 3. Apprentice/shadow under a Security Control Assessor, ISSM, or ISSO - Instruction/OJT 4. Gain knowledge and experience providing Cloud Solutions with security related focus - Instruction/OJT 5. Gain additional knowledge and experience with General Cybersecurity fields (Critical Infrastructure/SCADA/Facilities, DevSecOps/SDLC, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, etc.) 6. MCEN PMO / USMC Liaison Officer - Instruction/OJT - Gain knowledge and experience in government contracting/program management, related to financial aspects and standard business practices. 7. Artificial Intelligence (AI) /Machine Learning (ML) - Gain knowledge and experience working with our automation teams to produce MCEN work products. 1. During the course of this internship, the service member’s official place of duty will be at Leidos’s designated location (per NAVADMIN 222/15, paragraphs 7 & 9), unless otherwise agreed to voluntarily by the service member intern. Location is defined as remote. 2. The service members will continue to receive military pay and benefits throughout this internship, until the conclusion of their time on active duty service, which includes all Permissive TDY periods and authorized periods of Terminal Leave (per NAVADMIN 222/15, paragraph 8). 3. The service members will not displace regular employees and will not receive pay and benefits such as wages, training stipends, and/or any other form of compensation from Leidos for the duration of the internship (per DoDI 1322.29 Enclosure 4, paragraph 1). 4. Either party, Marine Corps or Leidos, may terminate the internship for reasons of military necessity and/or unsatisfactory participation by the service members. Upon notification that the internship is terminated, the Marines must immediately withdraw from the program and report back to the command (per NAVADMIN 222/15, paragraph 10).
• Please provide a schedule for your prospective SkillBridge program: 1. The service members will not work more than 40 hours during a normal Leidos work week. Start times will be 8:00 AM and an ending time of about 5:00 PM daily. An hour will be given for lunch. 2. Service member will remotely login via Leidos VPN to report daily. 3. Schedule will involve the following: a. Daily i. Resource Manager Stand-up/Leidos b. Weekly i. Ah Hoc tag-up ii. Leidos & MCSC iii. Contracts Huddle/Leidos & MCSC c. Bi-weekly i. MCCOG/Leidos PMO Sync d. Monthly i. Risk Management Board/Leidos & MCSC ii. Service Level Requirements (SLR) Huddle/Leidos & MCSC iii. Program Finance Review/Leidos & MCSC • Please list any known tasks for your prospective SkillBridge program: 1. Serve on an A&A / FedRAMP team (SCA-R, SCV, ISSM, ISSO) 2. Serve on a Cloud Solutions team 3. Serve on a Cybersecurity team for critical infrastructure, or Cyber Network Defense 4. Serve within the MCEN PMO to lend expertise and perform liaison functions with Marine Corps customers 5. Serve on the development team to assist with talent management models 6. Serve on the AI/ML team to assist with MCEN projects 7. Serve on policy and procedure team.
