This SkillBridge program intends to lead applicants to positions of Professor, Visiting Lecturer or Adjunct Professor of Aeronautics. The successful candidate for this position will work closely with the Department Chair and Dean to administer aviation-related curriculum to students in the Professional Pilot degree program; assist with the administration of the flight laboratories, and coordinate administration of ground and flight instruction with flight training contractor; ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory guidelines and university policies; provide recommendations and implementations to the Department Chair for the enhancement of curriculum, the flight operations facilities, equipment, employee training and laboratory safety practices; and ensure compliance with rules, regulations and procedures relevant to FAR Part 141 certification and academic accreditation. Applicants with non-aeronautic, graduate degrees may be considered for other departments at CSU.
