Job description:
Hold the rank of brown belt in Jiu Jitsu. Position is to learn how to operate a gym including duties in gym maintenance, coaching, tournament organization, lesson planning, and business management.
Ensuring the optimal functionality and cleanliness of our gym facilities is paramount to providing a superior experience for our members. Our comprehensive maintenance program includes routine inspections, timely repairs, and sanitizing mat space and common areas. We prioritize cleanliness through daily cleaning schedules and rigorous sanitization protocols, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. Daily and weekly tasks provide the gym as an inviting space for all users.Our gym lesson planning is designed to deliver structured, engaging, and effective fitness instruction. Each lesson plan is meticulously crafted by our owners to ensure a balanced mix of skill development, self-defense, and life skills through all levels. The first month will be shadowing current student head coach and owner. Once planning on their own, lessons will be discussed and reviewed by owner.Provide a fun, engaging and challenging environment for the students. Provide high quality instruction as well as supporting and empowering them to achieve their personal and competitive goals. Once lesson plan is completed with owner it will need to be shared with coaching staff to ensure proper instruction will be consistent.To achieve proficiency and a comprehensive understanding of Jiu-Jitsu, we require adult participants to attend structured classes. These mandatory sessions are designed to ensure that the student acquires the essential skills, techniques, and knowledge necessary to excel in the sport. Information gathered from coach staff will assess next steps or progress of classes with current instruction. Prior to a tournament an organized spreadsheet of all competitor information will need to be cataloged for school. This will ensure coverage of each competitor and planning for all involved. Coaching students during tournament, as well as review of student’s outcome and achievements.
