MAS Building and Bridge Inc. - Iron Worker Level 1

Our Iron Workers (IWs) erect steel buildings. Projects range in size but typically include large office buildings, large residential buildings, commercial buildings such as drug stores and banks to any type of structure that an owner wants to build with steel. The IW receives the steel at a jobsite, erects each floor, details each floor, and ensures a quality steel structure remains when the job is complete.

The IW is critical to our organization and our commitment to safety. As in every other trade, and much like the military, construction sites are active and dynamic. The IW must learn the trade, erect the task at hand, and commit to keeping themself and their crewmembers safe.

This role is an entry level role that will contribute to our Veteran culture and continued growth of the individual and the company. The IW will experience working with a team of professionals in dynamic conditions. The IW 1 will experience, classroom instruction, training tower instruction, training at our shop, and continuous on the job training and oversight. The program is designed to make them a competent IW in specific tasks identified. They play a very important role in building our team, erecting impressive steel structures, and contributing to an organization that is committed to taking care of their people.
