Job description:
As a part of the Aviation Maintenance Development Program, this internship is a unique opportunity for transitioning service members to immerse themselves in a civilian aircraft maintenance operation with a Cargo Airline.Key Responsibilities Include:-Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft & components-Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections and work orders-Utilize maintenance manuals to identify repair procedures-Examine replacement aircraft parts for serviceability -Proper utilization of hand and power tools -Assist with aircraft maintenance record upkeep-Assist with any regulatory inspections and inquiries from the FAA-Track component and bench stock inventory and reorder as necessary -Communicate with the dispatch and operations team on aircraft status and availability Intern Requirements: These requirements will also match the requirements of the job title this program is designed to prepare participants to enter post-separation.-Receive commander approval and be within 180 days of separation/retirement to participate in the Legends Airways SkillBridge internship. -At least 30 months of practical experience in performing duties related to aircraft maintenance.-An applicable MOS or AFSC in aircraft maintenance or a similar field.-Ability to work collaboratively with fellow maintainers, instructors, and flight students as well as independently.Interested parties apply here: https://app.milivate.com/company_opportunities/1733240583347x142694191867101180
