• Work safely while treating others with respect thereby preserving an excellent work environment.• Review and interpret engineering drawings and customer prints to plan fabrication workflows.• Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) and cut lists for each project or job order.• Coordinate with purchasing to ensure materials are ordered and available on time.• Communicate project requirements clearly to shop personnel, including welders, fabricators, and machine operators.• Track job progress through the shop and ensure timely completion and delivery.• Identify and resolve production issues or material shortages that may delay jobs.• Maintain accurate job packets, updates, and documentation for each order.• Work closely with project managers, estimators, and quality control to ensure finished products meet customer expectations.• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline production and reduce rework.• Monitor inventory levels related to active jobs and support inventory control efforts.
