GDLS DoD SkillBridge Intern - Senior Program ManagerDuties and Responsibilities: -Collectively support the management of Abrams Spares and Kits, Stryker Kits, and other OEM platforms with respective stakeholders’ proposal through close-out to meet cost, schedule and performance requirements as outlined in applicable contract scope of work-Serve as the portfolio leader reporting to the Department Manager to initiate, establish, propose and implement new strategies and methodologies aligned with our department goals and objectives-Resolve complex problems involving diverse, conflicting and/or incomplete data, requiring significant analysis, ingenuity and independent thought to mitigate risk and meet schedule-Explain and present complex ideas, anticipate potential objections and influence without authority to achieve department goals and objectives-Lead large multi-disciplinary projects or initiatives and manage with an active contribution and intensive management for deliveries and managing priorities not to impact customer schedules and financial goals-Alignment of forecasting with all stakeholders to achieve our goals and objectives-Lead engagements with Engineering for Obsolesce ECP Integration to achieve our goals and objectives-Lead internal department and cross functional stakeholder routine reviews and collaboration to achieve our goals and objectives-Establish and maintain a tactical event calendar to synchronize cadence within the department-Serve as a key consultant to department program leader providing pertinent information to include technical consultation, innovation and influence without authority to develop with courses of action, impacts and recommendations-Lead our internal team in support of compliance inclusive of inter-department audits and administrative requirements-Manage day to day relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders-Support the implementation of Safety, DEI, WSBM, ISO, Lean Six Sigma, Metrics, Compliance and other GDLS initiativesRequirements:Must be at least 18 years oldMust be a U.S. Person (i.e. a lawful permanent resident of the U.S.)Must be able to complete a minimum of a full time, five to six-month assignmentMust demonstrate the ability to effectively perform the following requirements at a Senior Level Program Manager capabilitySignificant experience and past performance in working with USG, U.S. Army, FMS, TACOM, or Defense Logistics Agency is a mustProficient in MS Office (i.e., Excel, Word, Power Point, Access) suite requiredMust be capable of obtaining a secret DoD clearanceMust be customer focused and action orientedMust have excellent follow-up skills with the ability to follow-through to completionMust be capable of communicating in both written and verbal modes at the management levelMust be capable of overseeing capture & proposal development processesMust be capable of overseeing demand planning, forecasting and integrated master schedule for multiple programsMust have ability to work with diverse multicultural group, which include all levels of staff and managementIn depth advanced understanding of working with our US Military/USG client for management of Sustainment Services, Logistics expectations is a plus.Experience of leading teams in austere environments under minimal consultative direction towards pursuing planned near and far ranged objectives/goals is a plusMust have a Bachelor's Degree in business or relatable field; An MBA is a plus;Demonstrated 10+years’ experience in program, product or project management
