Rheinmetall has spent decades pioneering new technologies, systematically expanding its range of products in this critical field.The Business Development Analyst, will support the Business Development Director with a variety of marketing and business development activities. In this role you will have the opportunity to propose new ideas to improve revenue though brand recognition and reviewing current market trends. Must have the ability to create plans to boost our financial growth. Provide financial analyst support to department managers through analysis, quantitative and qualitative data research.

Essential Functions:• Assist with pricing scenarios to win customer bids.• Assist with internal communications relating to pricing changes.• Create and analyze sales reports and look for trends, opportunities, issues, etc.• Assists with writing proposals.• Document findings of studies and implements new procedures based on those findings.• Apply analytic strategies to derive insights from compiled data and recommend, develop, and maintain data visualization strategies• Ensure project milestones are properly tracked and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet changing needs and requirements.• Prepare briefing notes and presentation materials to be used in prospect and client meetings• Supports ad hoc analytic requests, providing accurate and timely data, analysis and insightful interpretations• Demonstrates effective communication skills, both orally and written, when sharing work product and when communicating with internal and external stakeholders• Support business development actions including pipeline development, contact planning and execution, capture planning and execution, customer relationship management, and M&A target identificationMinimum Qualifications:• Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required, Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required, including advanced level spreadsheet skills.• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with senior management, customers and subject matter experts• Must be pro-active, self-motivated, assertive, and well-organized• High level of accuracy and attention to detail• Must work well under pressure and be highly responsive to short deadlines.• Ability to interface effectively with people is essential.• Ability to manage multiple tasks successfully.• Maintain tracking and recording matters for precedent, marketing, and business development purposes• Monitor email and phone correspondence and ensure that all prospect and customer requests are addressed in a timely manner• Ability to think strategically and take initiative with potential opportunitiesEducation:• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy or Finance or commensurate work experienceExperience:• 0-3 years’ experience in roles with related duties and skill sets Background Prerequisites:• Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.Preferred Qualifications:• Experience developing financial models and business cases in excel• Experience doing marketing research and/or competitive analysis• Strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysisWorking Conditions and Physical Demands:With or without reasonable accommodations, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform effectively all essential functions.
