Apis Energy Technologies, Inc. - Electric Grid Systems/Power Engineer

Apis is an electric software systems startup company. Based in New York City, the company develops state-of-the-art solutions for the public and utility companies with the purpose of solving the world's greatest energy challenges. The mission of the company is to: make electricity affordable for consumers, reduce carbon emissions, and improve the overall stability of electric grids worldwide.

The service member in this role would form part of a closely knit group of team members focusing their technical and creative skills on solving the biggest energy challenges by applying the most powerful software solutions available today. This role will enable and teach service members to use their studies and experience in engineering concepts of power grids and electrical systems to develop the energy grid of the 21st century. At this tech startup, the service member can expect to be among the first to learn about the field intersecting energy and software in the first weeks of this program. Quickly moving to understanding technical aspects; producing technical assessments; and trialing simulated and real world scenarios. At the conclusion of this program, the service member will be ready to work on the first electric grids powered by artificial intelligence, becoming pioneers of a new American industry.
