Federal Cybersecurity Internal - A GuidePoint Security internship sets up participants as professionals in cybersecurity. Participants develop technical competency while learning life skills about consulting work and common practices for navigating the challenges of delivering cyber work to various types of customers.
GuidePoint Security welcomes all service members with a computing or security background. Potential candidates are encouraged to explore different specialties within cybersecurity to find the best fit for them. We tailor each internship based on the individual's needs, with all participants completing foundational cybersecurity training and business development courses before being placed in a focus area to gain more specialized skills. Focus areas include: Application Delivery, Application Security, Cloud Security, Data Security, Digital Forensics, Governance, Identity Management, Incident Response, Network Security, Security Automation, Security Engineering, Security Operations, and Threat Intelligence.
