The MORE Marketing Internship is a Department of Defense SkillBridge opportunity designed to prepare transitioning service members for professional marketing roles through structured, real-world application. The program combines strategic marketing literacy, hands-on content execution, and executive-level communication within an operational business environment.Participants progress through a phased curriculum that begins with foundational onboarding and formal training, advances into tool mastery and tactical execution, and culminates in strategy ownership and a capstone presentation to senior leadership. Interns work directly with MORE’s leadership team, applying marketing principles to live initiatives that support organizational goals.Throughout the internship, participants are evaluated against defined learning outcomes using a formal grading scale and points-based rubric. Assessment areas include foundational understanding of business plans, quality and consistency of content execution, strategic thinking, presentation readiness, and overall professionalism and growth. Deliverables include written insight briefs, recurring social media content, a 30-day marketing calendar, updated marketing and advertising plans, and a final capstone presentation.By the end of the program, participants graduate with demonstrable experience executing marketing strategy in a real business context, a professional marketing portfolio, and the ability to present insights confidently to executive stakeholders. The internship is structured to support career transition readiness and may offer selective opportunities for expanded exposure or additional letters of recommendation based on timing and performance.

This program builds real experience in owning strategy, managing execution, analyzing performance, and communicating results to leadership.After completion, participants are positioned for roles such as Marketing Manager, Growth Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, or Communications Manager across industries, including real estate, technology, marketing agencies, healthcare, veteran-owned businesses, and startups. Graduates leave with proven execution experience, strategic confidence, and a professional portfolio, not just training.
